CHEF COLTEN JOHNSONA native of Phoenix, Arizona, Colten Johnson graduated from Arizona Culinary Institute at age 20, and immediately began puirsuing opportunities to learn from chefs and develop his own creativity. After working in Arizona for about a year, Colten moved to Vail, CO then to Chicago to work at Paul Kahan’s flagship restaurant, Blackbird. His approach to food is simple: taking classic dishes and cooking techniques and reinventing them in a way that is both exciting and new, yet approachable.
