Enjoy a traditional New Mexican breakfast at The Old House restaurant. Following breakfast, be sure to pick up a guided walking map of Santa Fe from our Concierge team. Start by exploring the museums of downtown Santa Fe. Across from The Eldorado Hotel & Spa is the renowned Georgia O'Keeffe Museum located on Johnson Street. It's small and easily seen within an hour, showcasing the works of the country's most famous female artist. Afterwards, visit the New Mexico Museum of Art to view paintings by traditional and contemporary Southwestern artists. Nearby is the New Mexico History Museum, a cutting-edge museum that explores our region's history in a multi-media environment. The Palace of the Governors, part of the history museum, is the country's oldest, continuously in use public building and is worth visiting for its fascinating history.
After a traditional New Mexican lunch served in one of Santa Fe's gourmet downtown restaurants, it's time to feast your eyes. There's nothing like shopping in Santa Fe, where you'll find one-of-a-kind treasures that you'll want to take home as mementos of your visit to this wonderful city. Our boutiques and galleries are famous, so you'll want to linger in our shops as you peruse the incredible selection of clothing, jewelry, art and more. Be sure to visit Canyon Road for additional gallery enjoyment. Santa Fe’s newest areas is our vibrant Railyard District! You'll find lots to see in this dynamic area, including the Santa Fe Farmer's Market, open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from early morning to noon.

Eat a scrumptious breakfast at one of Santa Fe’s delicious restaurants before heading to an active day outdoors at the Santa Fe Ski Basin, where you'll find an array of trails to hike for the day. Try the popular Aspen Vista Trail, with beautiful views of the aspen trees that turn golden in the fall. You can also rent mountain bikes and bike the Aspen Vista Trail (in season).
If you’re a skier, visit Ski Santa Fe. Nestled high in the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains just 16 miles from the heart of historic Santa Fe, New Mexico. Enjoy lunch at the Grill or come down from the mountain to a lunch in town.
