Benchmark Hospitality International Names Norbert Relecker

General Manager for Eldorado Hotel & Spa, Santa Fe



The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, August 2012 … Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has appointed Norbert Relecker general manager for Eldorado Hotel & Spa, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Greg Champion, Benchmark’s chief operating officer, made the announcement.

“It is with pleasure that we welcome Norbert to Benchmark’s Eldorado Hotel & Spa,” said Mr. Champion. “He has a unique understanding of what makes signature properties in extraordinary destinations successful, and will provide excellent leadership to the hotel’s hospitality team.”



Norbert Relecker was previously general manager of Benchmark’s Chaminade Resort & Spa, the luxury property overlooking Monterey Bay in Santa Cruz, California. During his tenure there he led a $15 million renovation and repositioning program.

Mr. Relecker has held general manager positions for several other properties in the United States, including The Highlands Inn located in Carmel, California. He has served internationally in senior-level positions at hotels and resorts throughout Germany and the Philippines. Relecker launched his hospitality career working for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.

Norbert Relecker is a graduate of the Hotel School Dr. W. Blindow, located in Hanover, Germany. He is fluent in four languages. Mr. Relecker is Maitre Hotelier of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. He is relocating to Santa Fe.
