Located in a city known for its fascinating blend of history and culture, Nidah Spa at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa was inspired by the ancient healing techniques of the people of the region’s pueblos, as well as by the healing properties of the stones, plants and herbs that have been harvested for centuries in the Santa Fe area. In Native American, the word nidah means "your life," which the spa’s many services have been created to enhance.

The dramatic copper and gold entryway of Nidah spa was designed to honor El Dorado, New Mexico’s legendary "City of Gold." As guests enter the spa, they immediately experience an atmosphere of quiet calm, from the well-appointed locker room to the soothing relaxation room to the softly lit ambiance of the private treatment rooms.

  • 7 treatment rooms, including a couples’ suite and Vichy shower

  • Relaxation lounge

  • Beauty salon featuring hair, make-up and nail services

  • Spa boutique

The spa offers:

Nidah’s signature treatment is the "Spun Gold" Massage named to honor the legendary El Dorado, the "Lost City of Gold." After a light body brushing, warm stones are placed on the guest’s neck and spine, followed by the use of Chakra balancing and Swedish techniques. The treatment ends with the application of Eldorado "Spun Gold" 24K gold dust body lotion. The spa’s signature 24K Gold Facial uses the negative ions of gold to break down the barriers and allow deeper penetration of products to firm and hydrate the skin.

Another unique offering is the

Chocolate Mole Wrap & Massage, an anti-aging treatment that purges toxins with a combination of chocolate, spices and Sedona mud, followed by a light massage using chocolate-scented oil. The En-Wraptured Turquoise Gemstone Wrap incorporates marine algae and desert mud, and turquoise stones are placed in key Chakra positions on the body. The Chili & Honey Wrap uses the essence of Santa Fe cuisine — New Mexico red chili powder — in a treatment that hydrates the skin and stimulates the circulatory system.
