Eldorado's Pumpkin Drinks and Oktoberfest

THE GREAT PUMPKIN HAS ARRIVED CHARLIE BROWN!

SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO . . . .  The Eldorado Hotel & Spa and its AGAVE Lounge are kicking off fall with three specialty pumpkin drinks guaranteed to please the most discriminating pumpkin palates!


Pumpkin lovers will soak up the popular Pumpkin Pie cocktail ($12) with its combination of Absolut Vanilla, Tuaca, cinnamon honey syrup and AGAVE’s homemade pumpkin puree.   The Pumpkin Patch ($12)  livens the senses with Maker’s Mark, Grand Marnier, Agave Nectar and homemade pumpkin puree.  For those who prefer a sweeter taste, the Trick or Treat ($11) speaks to fall flavors with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Bailey’s Irish Cream, brown sugar syrup and a touch of homemade pumpkin puree.   All drinks are featured on the menu at the AGAVE Lounge through November 30th.


CELEBRATE OKTOBERFEST WITHOUT NEEDING A PASSPORT AT THE OLD HOUSE

The Old House Restaurant is offering residents and guests a chance to celebrate Munich’s time-honored tradition of Oktoberfest, October 22nd – 31st with an authentic Bavarian-inspired menu highlighted by Santa Fe Brewing Company’s Oktoberfest Draught!


First course selections include marinated knockwurst with cheese and onion, German potato soup with bacon, or a selection of cheeses, cured meats, pate, gherkins and mustard served with bread and pretzels.  Second course selections feature traditional Bratwurst, Weisswurst and Nurmberger with German mashed potatoes, Wiener Schnitzel  with German roasted potatoes and red cabbage, Sauerbraten of marinated beef with red cabbage and spatzle, or traditional beef goulash and spatzle.  The ultimate end to an authentic German meal is a traditional choice of hot cherries with vanilla ice cream or homemade German cheesecake!  Menu items are priced a la carte.  For information and reservations  contact The Old House at 505-995-4530 or visit www.eldoradohotel.com.
