12 Simultaneous I Do's on 12/12/12
WHEN THE CLOCK STRIKES TWELVE ON 12/12/12
12 COUPLES WILL SAY "I DO" AT THE ELDORADO HOTEL & SPA
SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO . . . . . The Eldorado Hotel & Spa,is rolling out the red carpet and 12 simultaneous "I Do's" for 12 couples looking to tie the knot or renew their vows on December 12, 2012. The hitch? The cost is only $1,200 per couple, including taxes.* But the icing on the cake is one of the 12 couples will wed for FREE if their name is chosen during the final wedding rose ceremony!
This once in a lifetime date and package will unfold when 12 couples walk down the aisle on the rooftop of the resort's 2,200 square foot Presidential Patio overlooking the city of Santa Fe and the Sangre de Cristo mountains at high noon. The blissful package includes:
· Complimentary deluxe accommodations for each couple with a romantic wedding amenity
· Rose petals upon turndown
· A 12 o'clock noon ceremony on the 2,200 square foot Presidential Patio
· White wedding tent and heaters (if necessary)
· Ceremony set up
· A carry bouquet and boutonniere for the bride and groom
· Rose petals along the aisle
· Decor and Santa Fe luminaries lining the Presidential Patio balcony
· Officiant and witness
· Live entertainment during the ceremony
· 12 separately set tables of two for an intimate lunch or dinner on the patio*
· Individual wedding cakes for each couple with champagne
Whether the 12 couples are saying their nuptials for the first or second time, or they've chosen to elope or renew their forever vows, the $1200 price tag per couple is contingent upon securing 12 couples by December 1st. The package is inclusive of the 12 couples only, with no guests. According to James Schelnick, director of catering for the Eldorado Hotel & Spa, this was a creative way to offer budget conscious brides and grooms the opportunity to say "I do" amidst the romantic surroundings of Santa Fe, and on a date that will only occur only once in their lifetime.
"Given current economic conditions, we wanted to offer 12 couples an opportunity to enjoy an elegant ceremony with a flair of Santa Fe style and charm for an affordable price," said Schelnick. Couples can certainly work with Schelnick and the Eldorado's catering team should they decide they want to book a separate reception following the ceremony.
Once the 12 couples are secured, each couple will be entered into a drawing. Prior to their 12 o'clock noon nuptials, all 12 couples will attend the final rose ceremony where each couple's names will be written on a card and sealed in an envelope that will be tied around the stem of a rose. Each couple will then drop their rose into a crystal bowl. Eldorado's General Manager, Norbert Relecker will officiate the drawing by pulling the winning wedding couple's rose.
Brides and grooms interested in tying the knot on 12/12/12 at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa are encouraged to contact the resort at (505) 988-4455 and ask for the catering department, or visit www.eldoradohotel.com.
