Doug Libby - Eldorado Hotel & Spa General Manager
Doug has over 25 years of hotel and resort experience with some of the most recognized hotel management companies in the world including Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, and Doubletree hotels. He has developed top-performing teams at a variety of hotel types coast to coast: resort, airport, suburban, convention, downtown, and independent brands. Doug was most recently the regional director of sales and marketing for Heritage Hotels & Resorts overseeing five of Heritage's properties in northern New Mexico. Prior to that, Doug was director of sales and marketing for the Eldorado Hotel & Spa. Doug received his Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Brigham Young University and is a member of the Travel Association of New Mexico, Santa Fe Lodging Association and is currently an active member of the marketing committee for the Santa Fe Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Max Hirano - Regional Director of Operations for Eldorado Hotel & Spa, Hotel St. Francis, Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe
Max brings over 17 years of hotel experience and a multi-cultural background obtained from residing, working, and traveling to world-wide locations including Europe, Asia, and the United States to The Eldorado Hotel and Spa. He joins the property from working as the Regional Assistant General Manager for Heritage’s other three Santa Fe hotels, Hotel St. Francis, The Lodge at Santa Fe, and Hotel Chimayo. Prior to Heritage Max worked as Hotel Manager for the Ohkay Casino in New Mexico as well as at El Monte Sagrado as Rooms Director in Taos, New Mexico. He has also worked for the Sheraton, Crowne Plaza, Hyatt and Intercontinental brand hotels in Florida, Denver, Kansas City, Geneva Switzerland and New Delhi India. He is fluent in English, French and German. He studied hotel management at the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Glion, Switzerland.
Suzanne Taylor - Regional Director of Sales and Marketing
Suzanne Taylor brings to Eldorado Hotel & Spa a wealth knowledge from her more than 20 years in the hospitality sales and marketing industry. Suzanne has represented hotels in the Southwest, California and Arizona, including with Marriott International and Hilton Hotels Corporation and most recently with Santa Fe’s Hilton and Bishop’s Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa. In addition, Suzanne has a background in real estate and condo hotel sales. She has also contributed her time and talents over the years to numerous local and national professional community organizations.

Rick Pedram - Director of Catering
Rick has over 25 years of hotel & resort management experience. His area of knowledge is specifically in the field of catering food & beverage with some of the most recognized hotel management companies in the world including Registry Resorts of America, Stephen Brenner & Associates, International Conference Resorts of America, John Q Hammons, York’s of London & Hilton International Brands. This experience has empowered him to contribute to providing the superior service standards for the Eldorado Hotel & Spa. Rick was most recently the director of catering and conference services at the Embassy Suites hotel in Albuquerque. Rick & his team of catering & conference services professionals are all inspired by all the growth in the Heritage Hotels & Resorts family in the state of New Mexico along with their commitment to sharing the rich culture & history of the Eldorado Hotel & Spa.
Dan F. Liss - Catering and Conference Service Manager
Dan F. Liss joined our Santa Fe luxury hotel team in 2014 following more than a decade in hospitality. Liss has received many accolades and was a favored manager at La Posade de Santa Fe Resort and Spa, working as a banquet captain, assistant manager and manager. In 2008, he became the banquet manager at Encantado, an Auberge Resort and was an integral part of the team that opened the luxury, AAA Five Diamond property - the first of its kind in New Mexico. He also served as catering conference services manager and remained in his position when the Santa Fe luxury hotel became the Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe.
Mark Krumback - Associate Director of Sales
Mark has over 20 years in the Hospitality Industry which has provided him with extensive knowledge of Hotel Sales and Operations. His market is concentrated on the East Coast…anything that touches water from Maine to Florida. Mark has worked his way up through the ranks and his catering background has allowed him to be knowledgeable in both the sleeping room arena as well as capacities of meeting rooms. Mark is a performance driven professional whose accomplishments reflect outstanding leadership skills and focus on maximizing efficiency, productivity, and client relationships.
Mark Mares - Senior Sales Manager
A Santa Fe native, Mark brings 19 years of top sales performance in luxury hotels and resorts. He has successfully booked a variety of conference types including board of directors meetings, sales meetings, incentive groups, annual meetings and citywide conventions in the association, corporate, government, religious and ethnic markets segments. Mark started in the hotel business in Albuquerque at a 150 room property and has since gained invaluable experience at a 1,840 room hotel in downtown Texas, golf/spa resorts, and beach destinations. He has held several hotel positions to include Task Force Sales Consultant, Sales Assistant, Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Director of Group Sales and Area Director of Sales. Mark looks forward to assisting you with planning your next conference at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa, Santa Fe’s premier convention destination.
Lisa Downey - Director of Nidah Spa
Lisa is originally from New York and moved to New Mexico in 1992. She started her career in the hospitality industry in 2011 as the General Manager and Wedding Coordinator for Alta Mae's Heritage Inn and Event Center. She also worked at the same time for The Doc Spa in ABQ, a Medical Spa Practice as a Sales and Spa Assistant to the owners. Lisa began working at Heritage Hotels & Resorts in July of 2014.


Anthony Smith - Executive Chef
Chef Tony started his career as an apprentice at the age of 16 in London, England. His culinary journey led him to the United States first with Hilton and then Westin Hotels in New Jersey, Arizona, Georgia, Texas. In 2009, an opportunity to Join the Eldorado Hotel & Spa brought Tony to Santa Fe. His passion for food and travel meld the flavors found at The Old House, AGAVE and events catering menus.



Abraham Juarez - Director of Food and Beverage
Abraham has spent the last 16 years in the service industry, fine tuning his bar tending & mixology skills. In Albuquerque, he began managing some of the top bars and nightclubs in the city then transitioned to fine dining. After spending 4 years as the Bar Manager at one of the top restaurants in Nob Hill he made the move to General Manager at another top restaurant in Old Town. As a part of the Eldorado Hotel team, he will be focusing on some of the exciting food and beverage events!
