Doug Libby

Director of Sales & Marketing


Doug Libby is an innovative, seasoned hotel sales and marketing professional with over 20 years of hotel and resort experience. He has worked for some of the largest hotel management companies in the world including Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, and Doubletree hotels.

Doug has a proven ability to lead successful teams at a variety of hotel types coast to coast: resort, airport, suburban, convention, and downtown. He and his teams have been awarded some of the most prestigious distinctions within the hospitality industry.

Doug is proud of the fact that the Eldorado was recently awarded the Smart Meetings Platinum Choice Award for meeting excellence. He looks forward to showing you what his team can do for you!

David A. Carr

Director of Sales

David A. Carr graduated from the University of Denver with a BSBA in Hotel and Restaurant Management.  He is a 5th generation Santa Fean and came back to the Land of Enchantment 12 years ago.  Throughout his hospitality career David has worked in many departments including the Front Office and Food and Beverage, although he found his home in Sales. David has been with the Eldorado Hotel & Spa for 7 years and is currently working the West Coast Market from Colorado to California. 

Mark Krumback

Senior Sales Manager

Mark has over 20-years in the Hospitality Industry which has provided him with extensive knowledge of Hotel Sales and Operations. His market is concentrated on the East Coast… anything that touches water from Maine to Florida.  Mark has worked his way up through the ranks and his Catering background has allowed him to be knowledgeable in both the sleeping room arena as well as capacities of meeting rooms. Mark is a performance driven professional whose accomplishments reflect outstanding leadership skills and focus on maximizing efficiency, productivity, and client relationships

Sandra Wylder

Senior Sales Manager

Sandra is a seasoned professional with over 20 years in the Hospitality /Travel Industry.  Her background has always been “group event” focused and includeds some of the largest Hotel and Travel companies inclusive of Hilton, Marriott, and American Airlines.  Specializing in client relationships in each aspect of her career, Sandra has provided the expertise and extensive knowledge she brings to the Midwest Market, while based in Texas. With a contagious passion for Santa Fe and the “Land of Enchantment”, she is fully engaged as a great resource to assist you in creating a “unique and memorable” experience for your attendees. Sandra is an active member in Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE). 

Mark Mares

Senior Sales Manager

A Santa Fe native, Mark brings 19 years of top sales performance in luxury hotels and resorts. He has successfully booked a variety of conference types including board of directors meetings, sales meetings, incentive groups, annual meetings and citywide conventions in the association, corporate, government, religious and ethnic markets segments.  Mark started in the hotel business in Albuquerque at a 150 room property and has since gained invaluable experience at a 1,840 room hotel in downtown Texas, golf/spa resorts, and beach destinations.  He has held several hotel positions to include Task Force Sales Consultant, Sales Assistant, Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Director of Group Sales and Area Director of Sales. Mark looks forward to assisting you with planning your next conference at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa, Santa Fe’s premier convention destination.

Christi Rein

Transient Sales Manager

Whether traveling on business or pleasure, it is Christi's goal to ensure travelers have a unique and memorable experience at Eldorado Hotel. Christi develops and maintains relationships within the local business and national community. Christi will ensure travel agencies, both local and national, have an understanding of The Eldorado Hotel & Spa, and all it has to offer clients. Christi has over 10 yrs in the hospitality industry in California, Texas, and New Mexico.

Kristen Anderson

Conference Services Manager

Kristen has just recently relocated to Santa Fe from the “Windy City” of Chicago and is looking forward to showcasing the “Land of Enchantment” to all incoming groups.  As your Conference Services Manager, Kristen will competently oversee all aspects of your program down to the smallest details… from group arrivals at check–in to the choice of centerpieces for your dinner and everything in between.   Kristen will utilize her experience and expertise in the hospitality industry to seamlessly plan, coordinate and execute meetings and events that are not only wildly successful but unforgettable.

April Weber

Conference Services Manager

April Weber graduated from Point Park University with a BS in Sport, Arts, and Entertainment Management.  Throughout her hospitality career, April has managed events ranging from small corporate meetings to large intricate weddings.  As a member of the Eldorado Conference Services Team, April will ensure your group program is a success down to the smallest details.   Being a native New Mexican, April looks forward to showcasing what the “Land of Enchantment” has to offer through the beautiful Eldorado Hotel.
